Estimate My Bill
Mission Regional Medical Center wants to make the billing process as simple as possible for you.
Billing & Insurance Information – Mission Regional Medical Center accepts most insurance plans, including traditional Medicare and Medicaid and most replacement plans, private insurance, and Workers’ Compensation. The hospital will verify your insurance eligibility and benefits prior to your arrival. If your benefits are less than 100% coverage, our Financial Counselor will contact you before your surgical procedure or diagnostic test regarding a deposit equal to your estimated patient liability. Any outstanding balances for previous services will also be included. Your registrar will ask you for payment at the time of service. Your payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. If payment cannot be made in accordance with these guidelines, contact the Financial Counselor at 956-323-1803.
Emergency treatment is never withheld based on a patient’s ability to pay. Once your emergency situation has been assessed with a Medical Screening examination by our Emergency Room physician, you may be admitted to the hospital. You will be visited by the Financial Counselor to review your benefits and establish financial arrangements.
The hospital accepts your insurance and files a claim on your behalf. You, as the patient who receives services, are responsible for the payment of your hospital bill. Any balance remaining after insurance has paid or denied your claim is due in full. Our Central Business Office can assist you with payment of your account after discharge at 956-291-1700.
