Raised in Mission, Texas, Dr. Saenz is a proud local who earned her B.S. in Biology from UTRGV in 2011. She continued her journey at the University of Texas Medical Branch before returning to the Rio Grande Valley to complete a three-year Family Medicine Residency at the DHR-UTRGV Family Medicine Program in Edinburg, TX.

Since finishing her training in 2019, Dr. Saenz has been deeply involved in education as an Assistant Professor and core faculty member, where she enjoys mentoring and training residents and medical students. In August 2024, she took on the role of Associate Program Director at the Mission Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Saenz has a keen interest in pediatrics, dermatology, and preventive care. Her passion for education drives her commitment to guiding the next generation of family medicine professionals and serving the RGV community.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Saenz loves reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and their three young children
