Patient Rooms – The Birthing Center at Mission Regional Medical Center has 16 Labor and Delivery rooms open to couples anticipating a vaginal birth. The spacious, well-appointed birthing rooms allow you to enjoy all the comforts of home. The rooms feature polished mahogany furniture, soothing decor, televisions, and private bathrooms.

After delivery, you are transported to the beautiful Mother-Baby Unit, where you spend the remainder of your Hospital stay. All of our Post-Partum rooms are private. Each room has a television, a fold-out recliner for a father or support person, and a private bathroom.

Mission Regional recently installed new high-tech patient beds which are benefitting new mothers during the labor and delivery process. The new state-of-the-art “Stryker Labor & Delivery beds” are particularly beneficial for mothers in labor who receive an “epidural” for pain management.
