Staying in the hospital is not a fun experience, especially for a child. At Mission Regional Medical Center, we want to make your child’s stay is as comfortable as possible. Our approach is based on the concept of family-centered care with the belief that the family is a child’s primary source of strength and support.

Parents of pediatric patients are encouraged to spend as much time as possible with their child. A family member is welcome to stay with a child of any age and for your comfort, chair-beds and rocking chairs are provided in each room.

Parents are encouraged to approach our staff with any questions or concerns about the health and course of treatment of their child.
